Welcome to the official website of Congresswoman Bel Zamora!

Who is Bel Zamora?

As the first female representative of San Juan City’s lone legislative district, Cong. Bel is deeply committed to advancing the causes that matter most to her constituents. A lawyer by profession and a public servant by heart, she combines legal expertise with a passion for improving the quality of life for every San Juaneño.

Bel Zamora’s journey into politics is deeply rooted in her family’s tradition of public service. Following the footsteps of her father, Congressman Ronny Zamora, she has dedicated her career to championing critical issues such as women’s rights, education, and infrastructure development. Her academic credentials—graduating cum laude in Political Science from the University of the Philippines Diliman and later obtaining her Juris Doctor—reflect her commitment to excellence.

Leadership and Public Service

Recently, Cong. Bel joined the LAKAS-CMD party under the leadership of House Speaker Martin Romualdez. This new alignment champions humane, integrity-driven, and faith-guided leadership, while going together with her own values and commitment to service. Since being elected, Cong. Bel has authored and co-authored numerous legislative measures aimed at improving social welfare, public safety, and access to justice. Through her hands-on approach to governance, she has successfully secured funding for various development projects, bringing significant improvements to the city’s infrastructure.

Beyond her role in Congress, Cong. Bel is also a devoted wife, mother, and active community advocate, regularly organizing outreach programs such as her “Kusina ni Cong. Bel” feeding initiative. Her unwavering dedication to public service and deep sense of compassion make her a strong advocate for the people of San Juan City.
