Under this new law, monthly pensions will increase based on the veterans’ disability ratings, ranging from 10% to 100%. This provides significant assistance for their daily expenses, especially for healthcare needs.

This legislation enforces stricter measures against crimes like account takeovers, money mules, and social engineering schemes.

With Republic Act No. 12018 now in effect, three additional Shari’a Judicial Districts and twelve Shari’a Circuit Courts are being established to provide timely justice under the Code of Muslim Personal Laws. This law expands access to Shari’a courts in various regions, including the National Capital Region and Visayas, and designates permanent court stations.
Empowering Justice Across Regions
Delivering real change across the Philippines, Congresswoman Bel Zamora’s legislative efforts have resulted in five new Republic Acts aimed at expanding judicial access and streamlining case management across multiple regions.
These include RA 12047, which establishes additional court branches in Davao Del Norte; RA 12048 for Ormoc, Leyte; RA 12052 in Navotas; RA 12053 in San Carlos, Pangasinan; and, RA 12054 for Gingoog, Misamis Oriental.
